In 1985 Nino Frassica was cast by Renzo Arbore in 'Quelli della notte' as Friar Antonino da Scasazza, followed by 'Indietro tutta' and numerous appearances in programmes such as 'Fantastico', 'Domenica In', 'Scommettiamo che...?', 'I Cervelloni', 'Acqua calda', 'Colorado Cafè' and Piero Chiambretti's 'Markette'.
Since 1999, he has played Marshal Cecchini in the successful TV drama 'Don Matteo' alongside Terence Hill, Flavio Insinna, Simone Montedoro and Raoul Bova.
In 2020, he stars with Cesare Bocci in 'Fratelli Caputo' on Channel 5. She also participates in several editions of Carlo Conti's 'I migliori anni' and in Sabina Guzzanti's 'Un due tre stella'.
Since 2015 he has hosted 'Programmone' on Rai Radio 2 and is a regular guest on 'Che Tempo Che Fa' with Fabio Fazio.
In 2016, he was a guest at the Sanremo Festival, where he performed 'A Mare Si Gioca'.
A brilliant actor and presenter, he is also a testimonial for Compass and for ministerial campaigns against smoking.
In 2023, he participated in 'LOL: Who's laughing is out 3' and is the creator and star of the TV show 'Sconcert' on Prime Video.
His most recent books include 'Piero di essere Piero', after 'Paola - Una storia vera', 'VIPP', 'Novella Bella', 'Sani Gesualdi Superstar' and 'La mia autobiografia (70% vera, 80% falsa)'.
